2-Minute Trust Skills Quiz
Every reply you send a client earns a little trust or spends a little, and it’s easy to miss which one you’re doing. The trust skills quiz shows you in about two minutes.
What the quiz measures
You get nine real client moments with two replies each, and both sound like something a good professional would send, but one builds trust and one spends it.
The difference is self-orientation, which is a fancy way of saying how much the conversation is about you. Your credibility, your reliability, and how well you know the client all matter, but they get divided by how much you make it about you. The clock is there because these choices happen in the middle of real conversations.
What you get
Nine familiar client moments. A verdict somewhere between ally and asshole. And your growth skill.
It’s a quick quiz to introduce trust as a skill. If it gets you thinking about your team, email me and tell me what you’re seeing. I reply personally. And if you want my take on your individual picks, you can send me your full results too.
Who it’s for
It’s for client-facing professionals who get paid for their judgment (account leads, consultants, accountants, lawyers), smart people with good instincts and a reflex or two.
If you lead a team, send them your link and compare what everyone picked. If the choices reveal a pattern worth fixing, that’s a good conversation for us to have.
Why smart professionals lose trust
Ambitious professionals get trained to prove they’re smart, because school rewards it and so do the first few promotions. But clients don’t, because they’re waiting for someone to prove they understand.
The fastest way to look smart is to stop trying to.

Firms don’t grow because their people got smarter. They grow because their people got trusted. If you lead a firm, bring a Trust Skills Session to your team: two hours on your people’s real client situations, inside the offsite already on your calendar.

Trust Skills Quiz FAQ
How long does it take?
About two minutes: nine rounds, 20 seconds each, and a Pause button if you need it.
Is it free?
Yes, and there’s no email needed to play.
Are the scenarios real?
Yes, they come from real client conversations over 20+ years in client services, and both replies in every round sound like something a good professional would send, which is what makes it hard.
What happens to my results?
Your answers are logged anonymously without a name or email address. If you share a team link, those takes carry a random team code so I can look for patterns without collecting names. If you email me directly, I’ll know what you choose to share in that message. The quiz does not subscribe you to anything.
Can my team take it?
Yes. Your results include a team link you can send to colleagues. Compare which answers you chose, not just the verdicts. Once five people have completed it, email me and I’ll share one pattern that could be worth discussing at your next team meeting.
